The best cabbage soup diet recipe

Those of you looking for the best recipe search for the cabbage soup diet look no further than the original! It’s worked for decades, so why mess with it? There is indeed an answer to that, and I’ll do it in a second. For now, the original recipe is here:

1 Head cabbage
6 large green onions
2 green peppers
2 Cans diced tomatoes
1 Bunch of celery
1 Package Lipton onion soup mix
1-2 low sodium vegetable broth cubes
1 48 oz can of V8 juice or 6 cups of water

Throw all in a pot and boil for 10 minutes. Can reduce the heat to low and simmer until the vegetables are soft.

In case you forgot, here is the current 7-day diet plan:
Day 1
Fruit (no bananas) and soup

Day 2
Should the vegetables and soup. No fruit. No dry beans, peas or corn.
At the end of the day, eat a baked potato with butter.

Day 3
Same same as fruit before and vegetable soup. No baked potato.

Day 4
Up to eight bananas and as much milk as you want.

Day 5
Ten to twenty ounces of chicken or beef, up to 6 tomatoes and 6-8 glasses of water.

Day 6
Beef and same vegetables as before. No baked potato. Eat soup at least once.

Day 7
Brown rice, unsweetened fruit juices, and vegetables. Be not stingy.

Many people think I am opposed to the cabbage soup diet, which could not be further from the truth. This is because it does not claim to be more than it is. It is a short-term solution, to lose much weight fast. It is not a long-term diet.
