I’ve tried many diets let’s face it, they do not work, or so I thought.

I was overweight, not bad, but about 30 pounds heavier than I should have. It started my health concern, I was lethargic, and my blood pressure started to rise. My doctor has warned me that if I don’t start, to lose weight then I in some serous health issues in the near future was. He began to name a few… Stroke, heart attack, diabetes… Let’s face it middle-aged, I, and what he said was start me afraid, I wanted to see my kids grow up and even better to enjoy the grandchildren.

I didn’t know where you are looking for, I was sick and tired of hearing about the latest diets and had tried, most of them at some point or another, the low carb diet, Atkins diet, also weight watchers and Jenny Craig. Some temporarily worked had some worked even not at all, but the whole time I felt myself like I boot camp military style starve was to see what I was eating all the time.

The hardest part of all was difficult to resist, the food, I love, tasty pizza with good surface and much cheese, rich Italian pasta (also with lot of cheese), a double feeling beef, bacon and cheese burgers with great fries and then like a failure and stop when I succumbed to the temptation.

I have drawn serious and my diet plan for the next 12 weeks, you guessed it, many healthy foods, fruits, lean protein. Definitely no hamburgers, pizza or pasta.

Yes it was hard but it’s worth right be?

I started a good cardio routine, 3 times a week I went to the gym. Even though it was hard, I stuck to my guns, knowing, that I would be better off because it could better remove than to the eat healthy and exercise.

What happened, I’ve lost weight.

Period of 12 weeks I lost 6 pounds, most of them in the first week. Yes that’s right, only six pounds. Finally, wanted to work, I was gutted and I throw in the Towell.

Nothing, Nada, zip. That’s right, no shakes, pills, potions or powders no endless hours on a treadmill or cardio classes.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with exercise. In fact, if you want to fully benefit I recommend regular exercise, just don’t overdo it. Ok!!

In any case to say I was skeptical, but my friend, who had begun to shed the pounds told me. “If you do not, you are a Barnaclehead, it is the easiest way to lose weight, I’ve ever tried”
